The solicitation and acquisition of all goods and services is the sole responsibility of YMHA’s Procurement Department. The Department’s mission is to provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all persons or firms involved; ensure that supplies, services and construction are procured efficiently, effectively and at the most favorable prices available to YMHA; promote competition; provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity; and assure that YMHA’s purchasing actions are in full compliance with applicable Federal standards, HUD regulations, State and local laws.
The Business Opportunities section provides the vendors with a list of Invitation for Bids (IFB), Quotes for Small Purchases (QSP), Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQ).
Procurement Department Office Hours and Appointments
YMHA’s office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Salespeople or representatives are requested to telephone for appointments prior to visiting the Procurement Department. This will help assure that the appropriate staff is available and will also minimize the representative’s loss of time. Vendors are encouraged to leave business cards, catalogs and brochures for Procurement Department personnel
